(二種因果, 二种因果)

Two aspects of cause and effect, a division of the [lang id =1028]四諦 "four noble truths" (a) [lang id =1028]世間因果 in the present life, the [lang id =1028]苦諦 being the effect, and the [lang id =1028]集諦 the cause; (b) [lang id =1028]出世間因果 in the future life, the [lang id =1028]滅諦, extinction (of passion, or mortality) being the fruit, and the [lang id =1028]道諦 the " eightfold noble path " the cause.

世間因果與出世間因果。 四聖諦法， 有流轉、 還滅二門， 說為二種因果， 一者以苦諦為因， 集諦為果， 名世間因果；二者以道諦為因， 滅諦為果， 為出世間因果。

從四聖諦中分出二種的因果， 即世間因果與出世間因果。 世間因果是以苦諦為果， 集諦為因； 出世間因果是以滅諦為果， 道諦為因。
